Answer to Problem 42HP
A direction alone will not tell you how far to go, magnitude alone does not tell you which way to start heading.
Explanation of Solution
In vector term there is need to both magnitude and direction. But why it is needed to take both in consideration.
Only with the direction you cannot go anywhere or how far you want to is not easily decided. Like this only with the distance need to cover you can not to go any direction.
If you want to go any specific place then you should know how far one that place from yours and in which direction you needs to travel.
Only with direction or magnitude one can start any heading. Therefore, both direction and magnitude plays very significant role in term of vector.
