In some cultures, eunuch is responsible for guarding harems, which are the collective wives of one male. Eunuchs are males who that are castrated in their boyhood. Castration removes the testes, the major site of testosterone production in males. Because testosterone is responsible for sex drive in males, the reason for castration is obvious. As a side effect of this procedure, the eunuch tends to grow above normal heights. Explain how and why they grow taller?
