Introduction:

The reaction mechanism is defined as the step-by-step description of a chemical reaction at the molecular level. Each step of the reaction gives information about any kind of change in bonds, or atoms. A catalyst is defined as a substance that can speed up a chemical reaction. It is not consumed in the reaction and hence can be recovered in the end.
