Family life cycle:It is defined as a series of stages through which a family goes through over time. The typical stages in the development include the periods of independence that is a single young adult, then marriage, then a family with young children, then a family with adolescents, then launching adult children, and then a family in later life that is in retirement or senior years.
So, when a family passes through these stages in its life it is regarded as a family life cycle.
