Introduction:
Protein folding is the process by which a polypeptide folds into a stable three-dimensional (3-D) conformation. It is important for the functioning of the protein. Molecular chaperones play an important role in the folding of proteins. They bind to incompletely or unfolded proteins in order to prevent them from aggregation.
