Proteins are macromolecules formed of one or more chains of amino acids. Proteins are formed by the bond formation between two amino acids, which is known as the amide bond or the peptide bond. A protein folds into a 3D (three-dimensional) structure with the help of other proteins known as the chaperones. There are four different levels of the structure of a protein, namel, yrimary structure, secondary structure, tertiary structur, end quaternary structure.
