To determine

The way TO-DETERMINE whetheracceleration was constant.

Expert Solution & Answer
Check Mark

Explanation of Solution

Introduction:

Acceleration of any object is the change in velocity in any interval of time. It is a vector quantity. It can be positive, negative or even zero.

When, velocity of an object increases in any interval of time then acceleration will be positive. If velocity is decreases in any interval then acceleration will be negative and if velocity is constant it will be 0.

According to first equation of motion.

  v=u+at

Here, u is the initial velocity of object, v is the final velocity and tis time interval.

a=vut

When there is equal change in velocities in equal interval of time, acceleration would be constant. So, change in velocities for equal interval time should be calculated and if they are equal for whole table, then acceleration was constant.
