The function $p\left(x\right)$ is Shifted Vertically of 50 units Upwards to obtain $g\left(x\right)$ .

Total weekly pay of Rachel when her base salary is $400 is

  $p\left(x\right)=0.25x+400$

Total weekly pay of Rachel when her base salary is $450 is

  $g\left(x\right)=0.25x+450$

  $\Rightarrow g\left(x\right)=p\left(x\right)+50$
