The chemical reaction occurs normally outside the nucleus whereas nuclear reaction happens only inside the nucleus. Hence, in chemical reaction atoms becomes more stable.
Explanation of Solution
A nuclear reaction is very different from a chemical reaction. In chemical reactions, atoms become more stable by participating in a transfer of electrons or by sharing electrons with other atoms. In nuclear reactions, it is the nucleus of the atom that gains stability by changing some kind.
