To explain: The toughness of plastic
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
Plastic polymers are manufactured in laboratories and can have desired properties.
Since the plastic polymer is tough, it can be used for household and industrial purposes without getting damaged. They have great durability and can be used for a long period of time. But one of the major drawback of plastics is that they do not disintegrate in nature and get accumulated over time. The increased use of plastic has become a hazard to the environment and has killed many animals and sea creatures.
Conclusion:
Even though plastics are very cheap, durable and easily available in the market, the use of plastics should be reduced because of the increasing environmental issues.
