Slope $=\frac{4-0}{0-2}=\frac{4}{-2}=-2$ .

Since the slope is $-2$ , so $m=-2$ .

Now substitute into the equation $y=mx+b$ to get

  $y=-2x+4$

Hence, the equation of the line is $y=-2x+4$ .
