Introduction:
Posterior pituatory is one of the neural lobes of pituitary gland, also called neurohypophysis. It is made up of two parts namely, the pars nervosa and infundibulum. Posterior pituitary stores and secretes hormones that are produced in the hypothalamus of the brain. The secretion of these hormones is under regulation.
