Introduction:
Cancer cells have the ability to remain undifferentiated and cause damageto the nearby cells. The treatment involves the use of toxic drugs to kill them. Some initial shrinkage of the tumor is seen but the cancerous property in the cells returns. This is because the cells develop resistance against the drugs. Tumor cellsuse several mechanisms to make the drug ineffective.
