2 Stakeholders and Barriers There are various potential barriers which may arise while implementing an organizational project and some of them are discussed my peer. To add on my peer’s points, an organization or group projects may be faced with barriers such as time constraints whereby, Working on a group project can be difficult when team members have limited time to dedicate to the project. Communication barrier may also be an issue because Poor communication between team members can lead to misunderstandings, delays, and a lack of collaboration ( 7 barriers to organizational change and how to overcome them 2022) . Lack of resources is another barrier for group and organizational project hence, if the organization does not have the necessary resources to complete the project, it can be difficult to make progress and meet deadlines. Additionally, unclear roles and expectations presents another barrier whereby, if the roles and expectations are not clearly defined, there can be confusion and conflict between team members. I would address the barriers in my peer’s organization various ways which include; to address resistance from employees, it is important to ensure employees understand the importance of the project and how it will benefit them by providing clear and concise information about the project and its objectives. Additionally, providing employees with opportunities to voice their questions and concerns, giving them a sense of ownership in the project, and offering incentives for successful completion of the project can help to reduce resistance ( 7 barriers to organizational change and how to overcome them 2022) . Leadership must be actively involved in the project in order to ensure its success by providing clear direction and expectations, resources to support the project, and offering recognition and rewards for successful completion of the project. Additionally, it is important to keep leadership informed of the progress of the project and any potential issues that may arise. Lack of Resources may be
3 addressed ensuring that all resources necessary for the successful completion of the project are available, both financial and personnel resources. Additionally, it is important to be realistic when estimating the amount of resources needed and to ensure that those resources are allocated in a timely manner. It is important to clearly communicate the objectives and goals of the project to all stakeholders through meetings, emails, and other forms of communication. In my peer’s organization, the potential barriers to implementation of organization project are different because, in my own organization leadership is involved in all the stages of the project and therefore lack of leadership involvement is not a barrier. Again, the employees in my organization have the opportunities to address their concerns and this makes them to understand the impact of the project before it is implemented. Therefore, my organization applies effective strategies for a successful project.
