Our Principles ( SMART GOALS based) Specific: To provide reliable information regarding the overcrowded and inaccessible student housing community. Measurable: to observe an increase in the number of young families, young professionals, and newlyweds living in inexpensive housing. Achievable: By raising awareness among our community and local government, we can achieve these aims. Organize informational gatherings and movements in addition. Relevant: Members of our group have conducted reputable study on the housing industry. Time-bound: We want to see progress over the coming years, including a campaign to begin creating affordable homes.
Our Team We are a company that is proud of its team captains. There are five primary positions for team leaders. 1. The CEO is the organization's welcoming face and the person who makes executive decisions. 2. The primary objective of our marketing and stagiest jobs is to ensure that our mission and vision are communicated to our community while keeping our core values and guiding principles in mind. 3. Our manager/accountant's primary responsibility is to ensure that our money and donations are getting to the right parts of the business. 4. Our researcher: In order to ensure that we are presenting the community with accurate information, this position's primary objective is to ensure that all information is accurate and reliable. Our speaker: The main responsibility of the role is to organize all gatherings, protests, and public appearances. It also entails being articulate enough to serve as the event's main host.
Our Strategy The primary tactic is to inform the neighborhood about the scarcity of affordable accommodation for young people and the overabundance of student housing. Our organization's primary target demographic is young professionals, young families, newlyweds, and those between the ages of 20 and 30. Currently, the average rent for a two-bedroom apartment or house is $914, and the average cost to purchase a home is $255,000. Although the average rent for student accommodation is $621 per bedroom, a two- bedroom apartment would cost more than $1,000. It is quite difficult for someone who works 40+ hours a week but yet gets barely above minimum wage to afford these rent and buy prices. Our strategy is to raise awareness of the aforementioned statistics so that the younger people will have access to more reasonably priced rental and purchase properties.

The Problem Residential housing outnumbers rental housing in terms of quantity. Housing for adults is noticeably more expensive. A study that revealed the actual amount of student housing was released in October 2019. The city believes that Auburn has 14,615 units and 36,508 beds that qualify as student housing. Over the following five years, a small increase to 32,000 is anticipated. There isn't enough reasonably priced housing for low-earning residents.
The Competition The big-time and expensive developers who are creating these student housing buildings are our organization's competitors. The government is another rival of ours. There are also projects that have been approved in the past that are still being developed and adding to the problem, even though our local government is finally realizing that the overabundance of housing needs to stop or slow down. Our advantage is having the community on our side, enlightening the government so that it gradually realizes what the real issue is.
Key Issues Short-term issue Big Time developers Massive skyscrapers Future issue Government approved projects
