Introduction:

Carbohydrates are organic biomolecules which are made up of carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen and they found in all living organisms. A complex carbohydrate called fiber, which is obtained from dietary sources like whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. The human gut does not contain enzymes that are able to digest or break down fiber’s sugar units. But undigested fiber provides many health benefits while travelling through the digestive tract. The fibers are classified based on their solubility in water as soluble and insoluble fiber.
