Introduction:
Varicose veins are abnormal, twisted, and dilated blood vessels that are caused by the weakening of the vessel wall. They are elongated, enlarged, and tortuous superficial veins that are present in the lower limbs. It is a progressive disease and is most common in the mid-20s. This phenomenon tends to affect females more than males.
