“equals ()” method:
- The “equals ()” method is used for content comparison which means it compares two objects.
- It compares the two strings based on the content or data of the string.
- If the two values are equal, then it returns “true” otherwise it returns “false”.
“length ()” method:
- The length of the string is evaluated by the “length ()” method.
- It returns count of total number of characters present in the string.
- The Unicode unit of the string is same as the length of java string.
