Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
Stimulated emission is the emission in which an energetic electron interacts with photon so it reaches ground state and produces two more photons.
These photons are of same phase (coherent). The photons like this excite other electrons and this process is continued. As a result, a beam of monochromatic light is produced. A light is produced by stimulated absorption followed by spontaneous emission and hence a laser is produced.
