Two repeating units of the Nomex polymer whose two monomers are given below has to be drawn.

Concept introduction:

Polymers are large compounds formed by a number of repeated molecules called monomers. They are formed when the monomers are linked to one another by a suitable reaction like addition reaction or condensation reaction. Step-growth condensation polymers are synthesized by the stepwise reaction of monomers. Generally, the step-growth condensation monomers are bifunctional in nature. In step-growth polymerization, small molecules such as water, ammonia are eliminated.
