Introduction:

Primary cilia are appendages found in kidney made up of microtubules. They are extensions of the cells thatreceive signals from the extracellular environment. The single primary cilium is nonmotile structure and serves only the purpose of signaling. Other than this, all the secondary cilia are motile structures.
