Given: To sketch the graph with the following characteristics

The Nonlinear graph and $x$ Intercept at $-2$ and $2$ and $y$ Intercept at $-4$ . The graph has a relative minimum of $-4$ at $x=0$ . The graph is decreasing for $x<0$ and increasing for $x>0$ .

Given: $x$ Intercept is $-2$ and $2$

Since the graph has $x$ Intercept= $-2$ , it must cross the $x$ axis at $-2$ and $2$ and $y$ Intercept at $-4$ , i.e it crosses the $y$ axis at $-4$ .
