Explanation of Solution

Given information:

Given a circle $O$ and a point $T$ on the boundary of it.

Calculation:

Step-1 Draw a line $AB$ passing through $T$ .

  

Step-2 From point Take a equal distance less than $AT$ and cut both sides of $T$ which meet at the pints

  $C,D$ so that $\overline{CT}=\overline{TD}$ as given in the figure.

  

Step-3 Take distance $CD$ with compass and cut on either left or right side of the line $AB$ from both point

  $C$ and $D$ so that it cut at a fixed point $E$ .

  

Step-4 Finally join $TE$ and extend it to $F$ . And thus $EF$ is the required tangent at $T$ .

  

Hence the required figure is obtained.
