To review:

The most effective drug schedule of drugs 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) and cisplatin (CDDP) by adding 5-FU alone or combination of 5-FU and CDDP in various time combinations for treatment of human gastric cancer cells growing in culture.

Introduction:

Cancerous cells grow faster than normal cells. Thus, inhibiting cell replication can inhibit cell growth. Some cancer drugs target rapidly dividing cells, and inhibit their growth or cause death of cells. This is called chemotherapy.
