It is bounded above.

Given information: 

The function $y=2-x^2$ .

Calculation:

Graph of

  $y=2-x^2$

Putting the value of then $y=1$.

And then $y=-1$

And then $y=-2$

And then $y=-2$

And $x=0$ then $y=2$

Plot the graph:

  

We see the function is bounded above, as it never surpasses $y=-2$ .

Hence, the function is bounded above.
