Goal-based strategic planning:

• The goal-based strategic planning is been divided into four phases: analyze situation, set direction, deploy plan and define strategies.
• The analyze situation phase would involve checking strength and weakness of organization.
  • It checks opportunities as well as threats externally.
  • The internal assessment as well as external environment are been analyzed.
  • It is frequently summarized into Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) matrix.
• The defining of vision, mission, values, goals as well as objectives is involved in set direction phase.
• The deploy plan includes communicating mission, vision, objectives, values, goals as well strategies.
