Extent of interference of computerized medical system,that is to be allowed in the decision making of the physician:
- A computer sytem decision making can be used by a physician, for increasing his efficiency in treatment of disease.
- For risky and complicated disesase there is no peron to take resposbilty for the decision provided by the computer system,so the system should have least interference.
- The computer system might be capable of producing faster and more efficient decision than the physician, but the system do not have an identity that can take resposibbilty.
Whether the physician is guilty for malpractice, incase the physician applies a tereatment contrary to proposed by the computer system, and the computer system turns out to be rtight:
- In case the treatment provided by the physician is a blunder, than the physician is guilty for malpractice.
- In the condition the chances of correctness of the decision can not be known before the out come of the result.
- Than, there is equal probability for both thecomputer system and the phy sician to be correct...
