GIVE A SHORT ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS GIVEN BELOW Why Phosphate bond is important in DNA or RNA structure? Why G-C forms three hydrogen bonds while A-T forms only two? Briefly explain the importance of poly A tail of mRNA. What is nonsense mutation? Describe with an example. Write the importance of polypeptide bond. Is this possible to create a DNA sequence from an RNA and how? Which gene mutation is much severe and why? What are the possible outcome of Chromosome mutation? Define the domain and motif of protein. Why they are required?
Gene Interactions
When the expression of a single trait is influenced by two or more different non-allelic genes, it is termed as genetic interaction. According to Mendel's law of inheritance, each gene functions in its own way and does not depend on the function of another gene, i.e., a single gene controls each of seven characteristics considered, but the complex contribution of many different genes determine many traits of an organism.
Gene Expression
Gene expression is a process by which the instructions present in deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) are converted into useful molecules such as proteins, and functional messenger ribonucleic (mRNA) molecules in the case of non-protein-coding genes.
GIVE A SHORT ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS GIVEN BELOW
Why Phosphate bond is important in DNA or RNA structure?
Why G-C forms three hydrogen bonds while A-T forms only two?
Briefly explain the importance of poly A tail of mRNA.
What is nonsense mutation? Describe with an example.
Write the importance of polypeptide bond.
Is this possible to create a DNA sequence from an RNA and how?
Which gene mutation is much severe and why?
What are the possible outcome of Chromosome mutation?
Define the domain and motif of protein. Why they are required?

Phosphate bond are important because
- structural framework of nucleic acid
- the energy for producing the DNA polymer comes from the phosphate itself
- when DNA is synthesized there is an ATP an energy molecule that part of the phosphate backbone i.e. used to link the DNA together
- very very stable bond and it is very difficult to break
G-C FORMS 3 H BOND WHILE A - T FORMS 2 BOND
because of its structural guanine and adenine are purine group whereas thymine and cytosine are pyrimidine group
A -T form 2 H bond using 1 nitrogen atom and oxygen atom
G - C form 3 H bond using 2 nitrogen atom and 1 oxygen atom
IMPORTANCE OF POLY A TAIL OF mRNA
makes the RNA molecule more stable and prevents its degradation and allows the mature mRNA molecule to be exported from the nucleus and translated into a protein by ribosomes in the cytoplasm
NONSENSE MUTATION
A mutation that prematurely stops the translation of mRNA resulting in a polypeptide chain that ends prematurely and a protein product i.e. truncated and incomplete and usually non-functional.
