4-2 Activity: Marketing Strategy Analysis Target’s Digital Marketing Strategies: Website: Target’s website is updated regularly with new products, daily, seasonally, and during holidays. Social Media Presence: Daily posts and interacting with followers, reposts product reviews from influencers to bring traffic. Application Marketing (App): To discover new deals, items and sales. Customers can browse and order items for same day delivery or for pick up. Online/E-Commerce : Homepage is bright and welcoming with deals and new arrivals. They also have a section for what’s popular on social media which is a great way for customers to find trending items. Subscription Service/Option: Target offers two subscription options, the RedCard, and the Target Circle. The Target RedCard saves you 5% everyday online and in store. The Target Circle is a loyalty program where you can earn 1% in earnings every time you spend money in store and online. Affiliate Program: Targets affiliate program gives customers 8% when you promote Target finds. Online Advertising: Target runs ads on all social media sites as well as email marketing. Physical Customer-Facing Presence: When entering a Target location you are greeted with a warm welcome. Your questions are always answered to the best of their abilities. You can purchase an item and return it with no issues. You can also price match in store. It is very quiet & clean. The ambiance makes you want to stay for hours. 2.
