Chapter 9.13, Problem 1MQ
Summary Introduction
A transcriptomics method in which entire molecules of RNA are converted into DNA (cDNA) and sequenced. The RNA sequencing is otherwise called as the whole transcriptome shotgun sequencing, which uses next generation sequencing to reveal quantity and the presence of RNA in the biological sample. The RNA sequencing also facilitates the capacity to focus on post-transcriptional modifications, alternative gene spliced transcripts, alteration in gene expression, gene fusion and mutations.
