Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease associated with joints. It mainly occurs when the immune system attacks the own tissues of the body considering it as a foreign material. This condition mainly affects the lining of the joints which leads to swelling, pain, and bone deformity.Osteoarthritis is a degenerative condition that mainly occurs because of the wear and tear of the joints of the body. It mainly affects cartilage and the bones. The symptoms of this condition include pain, tenderness, and loss of flexibility.
