Introduction:

Cell is the basic unit of life. The plasma membrane which is outer surface of the cell made up of phospholipid bilayer is selectively permeable by nature which means that not every substance can enter into cell.

Explanation of Solution

The movement of a substance from an area of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration is known as diffusion.

The movement of particles during diffusion is dictated by high and low grouping of particles. Particles will move dependent on where territories of high and low focus are. In the event that there is a territory of high fixation, particles will move to a lower concentrated zone until particles are spread have same concentration.
