Question
Chapter 7, Problem 61RE
Interpretation Introduction
Interpretation:
The role of coenzymes based on the reaction mechanisms is to be discussed.
Concept Information:
Coenzymes are non-proteinaceous substances that take part in an enzymatic reaction and get regenerated at the end of the same.
Examples of coenzymes are biotin, flavin coenzymes, lipoic acid and nicotinamide adenine coenzymes. These have various vitamin precursors, such as coenzyme A (cofactor).
