Chapter 5.5, Problem 1MI
Summary Introduction
The nucleus is one of the largest organelles in the cell and that contains chromosomes. The nucleolus found in the nucleus of eukaryotes. A membrane does not enclose the nucleolus, it is found in non-dividing cells and it often disappears in the process of mitosis. The nucleolus plays a crucial function in the synthesis of ribosomal ribonucleic acid (RNA) and ribosomal subunits.
