Question
Chapter 5.5, Problem 1RIA
Summary Introduction
The nucleus is one of the largest organelles in the cell and that contains chromosomes. In the eukaryotic cell, the nucleus is visually a prominent organelle and it is discovered by Robert Brown in 1831. It is a membrane-delimited spherical body and the diameter of the nucleus is 5 to 7 µm. It serves as a repository for the genetic information.
