Calculation:

We can also solve it using distributive property.

The expression $9·49$ will now become

  $9\left(50-1\right)$

We can write the given expression in distributive form as-

  $9\left(50-1\right)=9\left(50\right)-9\left(1\right)$

This can further be evaluated as-
