Introduction:
There are some important elements essential for the growth and development of plants. Plants must absorb these nutrients from the growth medium. These are classified as macronutrients (calcium, carbon, hydrogen, magnesium, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, potassium as well as sulfur) and micronutrients or trace minerals (boron, manganese, chlorine, copper, iron, molybdenum, nickel, and zinc).
