Explanation of Solution

In geography, the latitude is defined as the angular distance of the north or south region with respect to the equator. The latitude is considered as the imaginary lined parallel to the equator. The latitudes that are present on the above side of the equator are termed as north and the latitudes that are present below the equator are termed as south. Tropic of Cancer and tropic of Capricorn are a examples of latitudes.
