Explanation of Solution

In biology, biome refers to regions on earth that experience similar climatic conditions and similar flora and fauna. One biome may contain different ecosystems, but the animals and the plants living in one type of biome have similar adaptations. Some of the major biomes are grasslands, tundra, rain forests, and deserts. For example- all of the deserts present on the earth belong to the category of desert biomes, it is characterized by low vegetation and life adapted to less precipitation.
