Hi, I'm trying to figure out if my thesis statement is okay to start with. My thesis statement will include how mothers are being shackled during the birthing process in jails and prisons. My thesis statement is: During the birthing process an incarcerated mother shouldn't have to be shackled. This can be traumatizing and become a lawsuit because anything can happen during the birth of a child. Is this a good thesis or should I try again?

The gynecologist refused to enter into a contract to perform the abortion without a court order. Should the court allow the abortion? I do not believe the court should allow the abortion as it should be her choice at the age of 16 if she was to get married, I do not believe that anyone should be forced to have an abortion, there are other alternatives, for example giving the baby up for adoption, or having a family member raise the baby.arrow_forwardFirst, explain the difference between a person and a human being. I graduated in 1988. But back then, we did have education about teenage pregnancy and STI's. I am not sure what is being taught in high schools today, but I do think the education is out there. You can't watch television without there being a commercial about a medication for various STI's. I think most education now is about teenage pregnancy. I could be wrong, but that is what I hear the most. I did read that fewer than half of high schools and less than one-fifth of middle schools teach sexual health education.arrow_forwardDescribe how you would assist a woman who has decided to place her baby for adoption during the labor process.
