Summary Introduction

To review:

The mechanism of protection of parasitic nematode from digestive enzymes of its host.

Introduction:

Parasites are the disease-causing organism, which may further be of two types depending upon their living nature on their host, i.e., endo-parasites (resides within the host) and ecto-parasites (resides on the host). Nematodes also known as round-worms or the Aschelminthes. These are the triploblastic, bilaterally symmetrical, and unsegmented worms. They lack respiratory and circulatory system. Nematodes are pseudocoelomates (not lined by mesodermal epithelium). They are mostly free-living, aquatic, or parasitic (both on plants and animals).
