Conductivity of zinc oxide semiconductor increases if it is heated in vacuum but decreases if it is heated in oxygen have to be explained.
Concept Introduction:
Semiconductors are metalloid and have less energy difference between the valence band and conduction band. The electrons move from valence band to conduction band when potential is applied and the current follows through the semiconductor.
