The hydrazine when reacts with ester group, nucleophilic substitution reactions occur. By nucleophilic substitution reaction they form substituted hydrazine. By azotising, heating and hydrolysing these substituted hydrazine different products are formed. These products are very reactive and easily undergo substitution and addition reactions to give products of industrial importance.
