Interpretation:
The possible number of codon and the number of codons per amino acids has to be identified.
Concept introduction: In the mRNA molecule the sequence of three bases contain coded information for various amino acid called codon. Each codon consists of three nucleotides.
Codon specify an amino acid. There are three stop codon which implies the end of the protein. Stop codon are UAA,UAG and UGA. AUG is the only start codon which signify the begining of a protein. AUG encodes the amino acid methionine.
