Interpretation: A plausible method for converting nitrobenzene into para-chloroaniline has to be found.

Concept Introduction:

Nitro group on reduction with Fe, Zn, Sn or SnCl2 in the presence of HCl gives an amino group.  Acetylation of an aromatic ring leads to the introduction of acetyl group in the functional group attached to the ring such as in amino group.  This is achieved by using acetyl chloride.  Chlorine is used for chlorination reaction.  It leads the aromatic ring for the introduction of chloro group.  Deacetylation means the removal of acetyl group which is done by aqueous acidic or basic conditions.

To find: Convert nitrobenzene into para-chloroaniline by a plausible method
