Introduction:

Natural selection plays an important role in the process of evolution. Only the organisms that are selected by nature survive and the rest are eliminated. The selected organisms reproduce and the genes of the selected organisms contribute largely to the genetic pool of that population. Their genotype becomes more common in the population.
