Summary Introduction

To review:

The three tributaries of the coronary sinus.

Introduction:

In the systemic circulatory system, the superior vena cava, as well as inferior vena cava (IVC), transports deoxygenated blood to the heart's right atrium. After filling the right atrium, the tricuspid valve opens as well as allows blood to enter into the right ventricle, from which blood is transferred to the lung to convert it into the oxygenated blood. Coronary sinus also transfers deoxygenated blood to the right auricle from the myocardium (heart muscle).
