Summary Introduction

To review:

The general regions where the branches of the aortic arch supply the blood.

Introduction:

The oxygen-rich blood from the lungs goes to the heart's left atrium, which passes it to the heart's left ventricle. The left ventricle then supplies the oxygenated blood to all body parts via aorta. Aorta is the largest artery of the body. Its first portion is called ascending aorta. It loops and forms the aortic arch or the arch of the aorta. The thoracic aorta and the abdominal aorta are the two regions of the aorta in continuation with the aortic arch.
