Summary Introduction
To review:
The transportation of the impure blood to the heart from the body via veins.
Introduction:
The blood that has passed through the capillaries of various tissues other than the lungs and which is now deoxygenated is found in the veins. This blood is called the venous blood. This deoxygenated blood needs to go back to the heart, which directs the impure blood to the lungs for its purification. This process of return of blood from different body parts via the heart to the lungs is termed as a venous return.
