Concept introduction:

The various spectroscopies are the primary method for determining the structure of compounds. If the molecule is not too large or complex, the determination should be very accurate. These are simply done and rapid. They can be combined to give overlapping information.

The IR spectroscopy theory apply the idea that the compound incline to absorb specific frequencies of light that are characteristic of the matching structure of the compound.

The structure of molecule is determined by the application of nuclear magnetic resonance in NMR spectroscopy (proton nuclear magnetic resonance) with respect to the proton in the compound.
